A Kabili,

I believe all the things you mention were already known and calculated into the stock price. I think with First Call estimates of $0.49 a share the $0.52 will cause the stock to rise.

The company said on June 4th that revenue would be down 15% from the prior quarter and that was exactly what happened. The forward looking statements regarding the FLEX10K product were positive and the sentence, "... any future backlog reduction will be modest" could be taken as positive.

Altera has had a similar "hick-up" in revenue/earnings in 1992 and the stock fell from $18 to $4 (split adjusted). In this case the $77 to $25 slide may be a similar type of pull back.

It'll be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.
