What a day. Like everyone down the the deep stuff however I came back some with a jump in companies like RAIN I purchased 400 shares at 22 on a limit order. I spent last night reading all your notes, you all, sure have at it. I then went to rainforest home page to see when they were opening in Atlantic City and notice they have one planned for the King of Prussa which is eight miles down the road from me. I also used to eat daily at the woodfield mall. I worked in the bank building for four years some 10 to 14 years ago. CHECKPOINT... It is a small company in New Jersey that has been going like a rocket. They put random security tabs on products at the manufactures or distributor before shipping to the customer. They have almost all the drug stores business. The competition is sensormatic who has been blown away. Todays Investors Business Daily on page b3 highlights the Seneca Growth Fund it mentions three key holdings. Pepsi, Cardinal health and CHECKPOINT INC. CHECKPOINT IS A SMALLER GROWTH COMPANY THAT USES RADIO FREQUENCY TECHNOLOGY TO LABLE MERCHANDISE. THE TAG TRIGGERS AN ALARM IF SHOPLIFTERS TRY TO MOVE GOODS PAST SENSORS AT THE EXIT. THEY'VE TAKEN MARKET SHARE IN THE DRUGSTORES AND ARE NOW WRAPPING UP IN THE SUPERMARKETS CHECKPOINT STOCK INCREASED 82% FROM 19 1/2 AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR TO 35 1/2 ON JUNE 19. THE STOCK ALSO CORRECTED TO 28 1/2 AS OF MIDDAY YESTERDAY. i BOUGHT IN AT 34 AND AGAIN AT 31 AND AGAIN AT 29 UP 7/8 TODAY AND CLOSED AT 28 7/8. This stock has a future, I have no interest only thought I would try to contribute. John
