Hello JG

Thought you might appreciate this:

De Beers commences legal proceedings

TORONTO, Aug. 12 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, August 7, 2002, Mr. Glenn Alston,
on behalf of Rhonda Corporation, announced that Rhonda has ended discussions
with De Beers regarding the Knife Lake Property without agreement being
reached.
Despite many previous public statements by Rhonda that De Beers was its
joint venture partner, and that there existed an agreement between them
whereby De Beers had the option to earn a 70% interest in the Property, Rhonda
stated in its August 7, 2002 press release that it had only been "negotiating"
a joint venture agreement with De Beers.
On August 8, 2002, De Beers commenced legal proceedings against Rhonda in
the Ontario Superior Court of Justice seeking, among other things, a
declaration as to the existence of the agreement, and a declaration that De
Beers has earned a 51% undivided ownership interest in the Knife Lake
Property.

Regards

From your friend up north.
