This is a losing battle. No it isn't GST. You are going to lose this one. Tech companies aren't exactly falling into line on the issue are they? The problem is options put a lot of money in workers pockets, increase productivity dramatically and cost the issuing companies almost nothing in real terms. (an argument can be made that options increase cash flow to issuing companies, even). You are trying to make up a cost that doesn't exist. If you don't like what you see in the fully diluted EPS, don't buy the stock its as simple as that. Between Buffetts lobbies and Gates/Chambers, I predict the tech guys win this one. Lizzie
