Hi Nadine Carroll; First two casualties in US invasion of Iraq: Plane crash kills nature photographers CNN.COM, August 13, 2002 BISHOP, California (AP) -- Nature photographers Galen and Barbara Rowell, whose works were published in National Geographic, Outside and many books, were killed in a plane crash in the eastern Sierra Nevada. ... cnn.com I'm not sure where "Siera Nevada" is, but I thought I saw a website that said it was on the Jordanian border. It sure sounds like it's in Iraq somewhere. I looked on CNN.com figuring that they'd be reporting on all the military operations going on in Iraq, but this was all I could find.
