Mike/SAF - So I gather you both subscribe to the notion that any increase in the POG that would logically accompany a falling clownbuck requires an address from the Fed to disconnect it.

If I may simplify this idea, I get the following:

(a) things that are bad for gold will be allowed to drive the POG down, and

(b) things that are good for gold will be met by alternative measures that will drive the POG down.

Not sure that I fully buy into this conspiracy, but history shows that over time, markets correct any attempt to manage them
