Carl, we're going into Iraq in some form or other. The justification will be three-fold: First and foremost, proven and established Iraqi participation in the training of Al Qaeda terrorists. Second, and perhaps weakest from a factual standpoint, a connection between Iraq and 9/11. Third, Saddam's progress in nuclear weapon development and other WMDs.

We will be supported overtly by Turkey and England and under-the-table by other ME leaders who see Saddam as a threat but cannot face off against him for domestic political reasons.

When? Who knows, but probably sooner than later. Don't underestimate the influence of the approaching November elections in timing the attack.

It will be a cakewalk.
