Yousef, <But making decisions based on polls is not leadership ... This is "followership".>
It is also one of the habits of Highly Ineffective People

This is an interesting thing to me:

1. JFK writes the definitive classic text about leadership and political courage (Profiles in Courage) -- one which totally focused on the notion of governance based on principal instead of polls;

2. JFK was purportedly a (if not THE) most important inspiration for Clinton;

3. Clinton couldn't take a pee without taking a poll first.

I cannot imagine why Clinton squandered his opportunity for creating a legacy in this way. Logically, (3) doesn't follow (1) and (2). The one thing he might have done to have a legacy would have been to show political courage. Yet, he totally failed at doing so.

Strange.
