Revs rose 3.6% to $277.0 mln vs the $283.3 mln consensus. For Q2, sees EPS of approx. $0.55 (consensus $0.52). Cautious that "weaker-than-expected national or regional economic conditions could make it more difficult for us to achieve our earlier sales growth targets for the restaurant segment in fiscal 2003." [Harry: This is not good. They have beat EPS the last 2 Q's. Weakness in the restaurant business usually means people are not feeling good about the economy. The first thing to go is eating out as household budgets get tight. It could just be their concept as concepts go in and out of vogue in a hurry.] 18:06 ET ARXX Aeroflex meets Q4 consensus; gives Q1 outlook (7.67 -0.33) Reports Q4 (Jun) earnings of $0.05 per share, in line with the Multex consensus of $0.05; revenues rose 12.0% year/year to $66.3 mln vs the $60.1 mln consensus. For Q1 (Sep), sees EPS of $0.01 (Multex consensus $0.05), and expects revs to be slightly higher than 4Q02 (Multex consensus $70 mln).
