INSP and AH-HA.com team to build a pay per viewing search engine result.

Looks like INSP wants an in-house answer to Overture in that they want to sell positioning of the results of their own search engines.

biz.yahoo.com

In reading the article, the product is planned to launch in the next few weeks, I suppose ah-ha.com already had the technology in place and sales to existing merchants are taking place currently.

I recall back a few quarters looking on the focus of search engines as a bad sign for INSP. Now that the bottom of the market capitalization has fallen off a cliff, any sort of increased revenues are a good thing.

I still think searches are a tough road to go as long as you have search engines like google to contend with.

I had added a button to my browser with the WebCrawler search engine until I did a routine search of my hard drive and realized that WebCrawler was writing to my hard drive as to the searches I was conducting....I did not like that so I got rid of WebCrawler...Too invasive for my tastes.
