It was in response to seachre's contention that "Lying over sexual relations was viewed as a bit irrelevant by most people on earth". It was not irrelevant to me, or even to most "people on earth". I will concede that about half of of Americans (the people that I am most concerned with) do think it is no big deal, and that disappoints me somewhat. I think the behavior is garbage, and you think being offended by it is garbage. That is at least one (of many most likely) differences between you and me.
