Look at the growing list of illustrious SI members weighing in on this! We know the names, we know the voices, we know where they come from and the names of their adorable little siblings, not to mention their neighbors and churches. Not care? You tried to sound so blasé, but I know better.
And to think you and I hid our addiction from everyone for weeks.
The excitement grows.
As you know I almost sent the family to Cancun without me last week, so great was the temptation to stay home for AI. The first thing we did on returning was run to the computer to find out who got voted out. Never mind feeding the cat or checking messages and mail-- this was far more important.
We were stunned to see that it was Christina, since we think Nikki, despite hailing from the Metroplex, just doesn't have the voice, and Christina was pretty good, even with the vibrato. (Goodness, does anyone remember Buffy St. Marie? Now THAT was vibrato.)
of course Ammo is on a one man crusade against Justin- and is delighted with your poll. He is going to a party tonight, and accepted only on the condition that they watch the show. He was embarrassed to admit his obsession, but he couldn't miss another show so he asked. He was looked at blankly.
"What ELSE would we do?" said the host.
I think RJ is staying in because he has that androgynous, non-threatening pretty boy look, like Leonardo diCapprio. He's sweet. He would never crush a beercan on his forehead, or make rude body noises, and he probably helps with the dishes.
I want to see Justin on a BAD hair day.
And Nikki on a good one.
Do you think there is something wrong with her feet? Her footwear looks orthopedic.
Ok- ok- so I;m OLD. But Tamyra never makes those podiatric fashion faux pas.
As for Kelly-- she is a goddess. She deserves to be The American Idol. If for any reason she can't serve, then first runner up Tamyra will do it well. She should get the Best-dressed award too.
I understand Simon is a shoe-in for Miss Congeniality.
