I've fixed my Outlook Express so the spam doesn't open, and check suspect senders by looking at their email address under Properties (as instructed here), and think it is helping reduce the volume -- but they are getting very clever. I have a yahoo em account, so NATURALLY just opened an email from Yahoo Administration... at least I thought it was, because the Sender was Admin@yahoo.com, Subject: Your Password.

The entire content of the email (unless you clicked on other links) was

THESE COLLEGE CHICKS WILL SCHOOL YOU!!! CHECK THIS OUT!!!!

Sheesh.

And I have NoAds, but the pop up people are getting so clever that i can't keep up with all the changes of address they use.
