*AV*-I usually save the best for last but there is no way I am going to read 100 posts and make a plane. Suffice to say, SEMICON was a blast and there are tidbits I picked up for our next round of "As the Semi Turns".

Qucik stuff for the masses.

0. I hope Cindy was able to post my warning. I am getting Bearish on the semis now that SEMICON is over. Took the money and ran on a few stocks over the past few days and turned them over into more enjoyable prospects.
1. More CMP players and Slurry providers coming onto the scene.
2. SFAM is good but not best of breed yet. There are others and the booths were equally as crowded.
3. Everyone uses the CYMI DUV systems in their DUV steppers. CYMI must be doing well since they were handing out Mag-lights as their give away while Nikon was passing out shoelace type neck badge holders.
4. No surprises at the show but some pleasant occurrences. I have renewed faith in TGAL and would consider it a decent 10-20% play over time. This is after rotating out of some of the obnoxiously price stuff.
5. I am holding onto my UTEK shares and believe 40 is doable for the end of this year even in the face of some declining equipment stocks that are going to get hit now.
6. AMAT had the attitude that they owned the world. Their booths were a tribute to that.
7. SUBM looked as if they were shopping for a buyer (just my perception) to put themselves back on the right path.
8. NVLS and LRCX looked solid but LRCX had nothing spectacular to differentiate itslef at the show that justifies it recent jump in share price. The price jump is fiscally/financial infrastructure induced and not equipment technicals. Therefore, I folded my remaining shares.
9. FSII looked solid with its cryogenic cleaner.
10. TNCR-KLAC booth was very impressive.
11. ASYT devices (Pods, loaders and ARM units) were all over the place as usual. They had a great show because everywhere they had units on display at OEM customers, people were oogling over it. Their same competitors wer present at the show and looked as medicore as ever. ASYT still rules its market. This is still a keeper.
12. CFMT looke good and had a great location, IMO. This is still a good keeper even with my bearish attitude right now.

Robin-I have been buying down BYDS and still hold. Why take a loss when you can average down for the "BIG" recovery. BTW-you are welcome for the "Final 4". Even you must have invested in at least one of them and got your 10% this week.

Gotta run, losing this terminal as we type.

Andrew
