" The icon of this corrupt era, Enron, remains untouched. Nine months after the first
revelations about phony financial reporting and
document shredding involving Enron, not a single official of that company has been criminally
indicted. Not one cent has been transferred from top Enron executives to the employees or
shareholders who lost billions of dollars."

ksuave,

what are people going to do for their retirement? And they are so many people losing their jobs. I noticed
in today's paper that IBM will lay off 5% of their workforce or 15,600 jobs. Bush spent the surplus
on a tax cut that gives the biggest benefits to the wealthy and now he wants to start a war with Iraq.
I also noticed in today's paper that more welfare checks are going to children in the US who don't have
enough to eat. Compare all the bad news to Bush and Cheney smiling in pictures spread all over
the front pages of today's newspapers. Bush sits with the top guy at Charles Swab who made hundreds of millions of dollars last year and who, in the past, gave huge political donations to the Republican party.

And the Enron executives are still free! I haven't heard that Kenneth Lay, Bush's biggest campaign contributor,
has applied for welfare!!!
