Good work, Mq.

I'm only whining like a tiny Lear Jet about Uncle Al's lack of emphasis. He should have blown the warning trumpet a bit louder--my only complaint.

I think all of us here being of sound mind clearly understood that there was a bubble in the earnings-free internet stocks while the bubble was in full bloom. I thought they would inexorably crash, so I avoided them like the devil. My especial mistake was in thinking that high-quality tech stocks like Q would be remain unaffected.

It was stupid and I should have sold. Nonetheless, I think it was edifying to lose a part of a previous fortune I had made. Builds character and all that. It's not so bad, nothing to be afraid of. It'll be back as I haven't sold (in fact have been buying here and there) and the present depths will be a memory just as the party was.

I have an uncle who lives in Hawaii who has made and lost several fortunes. He has been King of the Hill and a taxi driver all in the same decade. He has a blast.
