Gee, I hate to bring down the high tone of the day's posting...
Naw, no I don't.

Don't tell anyone, but I really don't like Bacharach. Bad enough they make them do a ballad, but to limit it to one composer seemed over the top. Not that working with someone the quality of Bacharach isn't incredible, just that I think it was limiting stylistically and vocally.

Next week a Puccini aria? Maybe as alien as Bacharach.
I know my boys probably wouldn't know his work.
Although they actually would know a lot of Puccini.

The group number can be one of the choruses from Gilbert and Sullivan. That would be fun.

Just trying to add some class to my post.

Oh- and I can't keep the tenors straight either. But I have loved Tynan since I saw the Three Tenors at Ellis Island. It was one of those times when I was alone in the house, late at night, watching PBS and it was just so wonderful and moving. Have you had those times? When you get all emotional and want to just say to SOMEONE- Isn't this WONDERFUL!!!-- and there's no one there to share it with, and so you bottle the feeling, this pure essence, and then it's always there.
That probably makes no sense at all.
Now I have turned poor Impy Rowan into a geni in a lamp.
