Was this from that same site? I don't think so. I just searched on "Rothschild" and "Waterloo" in response to DAK's enquiry. The actual site that came up is this one. emiddleware.com Rothschild simply provided financial services and was in addition a shrewd business person. I don't think any conspiracy was even necessary. Nobody was forced to sell when Rothschild started selling. They just went into headless chicken mode by themselves. (imho) Benjamin Disraeli's comment comes from the fact that when you own all the money, you own nearly everything else.
