I wonder if someone will reply to that post by posting a list of a bunch of moronically tendentious distortions of the differences between liberals and fascists. That list Laz posted represents a dishonest cartoon of thought, not thought.

Oh, the opposite of a liberal is a fascist? Who says? The people being name-called? But what does their opinion of what they are politically have to do with anything?

That sarcasm is to make a point, Laz: I know it's not about fascists. I just said that to show you how it feels when labels having nothing to do with you in your opinion (though I'm sure you and fascists alike believe the trains should run on time and have other points of coincidental agreement) are flung at you instead of responses to specific points at issue. Responses that might lead to interesting discussion.

Laz and Solon: Do either of you think it is "seditious" or "treasonous" to criticize the president of the US as long as there has been a jihad declared against America, and to attempt to stifle the free speech of those who do it? I could use labels to describe anyone who holds that opinion, and so could you. Do you do it?

If the mindless (imo) political labeling keeps on, this thread is over as a venue for discussion, imo.
