8:35AM: The 388K level of jobless claims in the week of Aug. 10 was above the 380K consensus, but this figure has been holding in the sub-400K for the last few months, and any figure in this range is consistent with a steady job market... Futures took a dip as the headlines hit, but have bounced back in recent action... Presently, the S&P futures, at 923.50, are 3.50 points above fair value while the Nasdaq 100 futures, at 975, are 5 points above fair value
