S&P kicking my baby VTSS out on August 20th!! Read further: Vitesse Semiconductor (VTSS: news, chart, profile) fell more than 18 percent after Standard & Poor's said it would boot the chipmaker's stock out of its S&P 500 Index after the close of trading on Aug. 20. S&P noted late Wednesday that it was the lowest ranking member of the index in terms of market capitalization and that its stock "continues to trade at a low price." Vitesse's place will be taken by the Class B shares of Travelers Property Casualty, which is being spun off by Citigroup (C: news, chart, profile) on Aug. 20. Damn them all to hell!!!
