Since you don't agree, again I ask what was the point of the article?

I assume you're referring to the press release regarding Intel's 90nm process, right? If that's the case then you are incorrect in saying that there's nothing new compared to the March release. The fact that Intel will use stressed silicon is a new point and apparrently very significant. It appears that Intel is quite a ways ahead of everybody else, which is nothing new in itself but this is a new process feature that nobody else appears to be close to production with.

If you were referring to something else then please be more specific.
