Saddam didn't kick out the inspectors.

Technically true but totally misleading. He stopped cooperating with weapons inspectors and had them harassed and the UN withdrew them.

Of course, victims of extortion always blab to the world about the people threatening them.

In the exact same situation a decade ago, these same victims did blab. And you wonder why I mock your logic?


A decade ago, Saddam's government hadn't been working on WMD's as long. The thinking is he's made some progress over the past decade.
