The biggest difficulty I have with this company is that I can't find them in any current Calgary phone book (and I know the company's been around since the mid 80's if not earlier). Even the "reverse" directories yield nothing. I can't see any reason a company would choose to be unlisted. I asked the company directly if it was listed in the Calgary yellow or white pages and was told it is under "Dakota Resources". I will call Calgary directory assistance on Friday and see if it is indeed a case of error somewhere. Maybe I'm making a mountain out of a molehill?

Naturally, I am hoping for success in securing a deal with regard to the gravel pit. If it happens, then Bob Bateman deserves credit. I am skeptical only because I have spoken to him in the past and was assured of things that never did materialize. I know many plays are speculative, but the empty promises were becoming habitual.

From your post, I gather that you've followed Mr. Bateman's work in the past. Could you enlighten us and substantiate the praise? The only information I can find on him is that he has been a director of a few other companies here and there. I don't know about his achievements or connections. My thanks in advance for any information you can provide.
