Besides, even if this release was just a rehash, how is that evidence that Intel is running scared of Hammer? To those with an AMD-centric view of the world, Intel can't say anything without being seen as "worried over Hammer."

I said it was to draw attention away from its competitor.........understandibly. What it says to me is that INTC is not as secure re its position as it once was..........but I am sure you will find a way to put a different spin on it so that Intel comes out smelling like a rose from Portland's rose garden. <g>

It's kind of like your view of Bush, or David's view of Clinton. Sometimes you just have to take things at face value and leave it at that.
