If they sunk capital into developing the well(s), and building the gathering infrastructure, I doubt they are going to sit back and wait for the right price. Time is money.

Then again, with interest rates as low as they are, maybe the discounting of future cash flows doesn't hurt as much. At 0%, they could wait for their price.

I don't know how much truth is in that link, just thought the people here might find it of interest.
