We may not set foot in Iraq, but something is up

The last oil reserve report shocked everybody big time. Oil reserves were suppose to drop by 3 million barrels. Instead they dropped by over 9 million barrels in one week. Other economic reports show manufacturing dropped, consumer spending dropped. Airline travel dropped as confirmed by US Airways. So if manufacturing and consumer spending dropped it means Trucks burning 4 miles to the gallon dropped in travel time. Air fuel consumption also dropped.

When Bloomberg first reported the 9 million barrel dropped in petroleum they put two and two together and said the US government must have bought the difference. Since then they modified their story to say the economic reports must be wrong.

Then look at Russia. The major US oil companies have budgeted 40 billion towards development of the oil fields and shipping centers. The US government is assisting in modifying one of their ports to allow larger oil barges in. Russia is currently the second largest oil producer. Currently they do not ship to the USA because their ports do not allow large enough ships to make it economical. Not only are we ready to change this Shell, Texico, and British Petroleum are getting ready to pump up the volume in Russia.

I suspect Bloomberg’s first conclusions were right. I then look at what's going on in Russia. It appears to me we are getting ready for a short term disruption in oil supplies and are moving towards a permanent sever relationship with the middle east.
