This suggests that we must eliminate the Muslum/Islam cult because attacking and defeating such now will ensure living together in peace. I can't recall where a philosophic idea has ever been vanquished producing amiable results for the losers as well as the winners.

The followers of a philosophy will not exit by our destroying or subjugating their most faithful numbers. A good example is Judaism: the followers of this Book have been persecuted and even murdered since the beginning of time. It is stronger now than ever. Children should be assimilated into modern culture by example, education and evolution not by a holy wars. Kids can learn to hate as well as love their neighbors otherwise the religious conflict in Ireland would have ended long ago. Witness that kindly missionary activity has brought many to the Christian faith in this world, but it takes time, patience and common interests.

If they come at us violently, we have to fight fire with fire. Meanwhile, one would hope that we can reason together through longer periods of interaction. Maybe in two or more generations we can look to a more peaceful coexistence as extremists give way to moderates. Otherwise it may come to the "mother of all wars" like Armageddon. It's time that honest leaders emerge in involved Muslim nations like Saudi Arabia and speak out more forcefully against their renegade elements (but maybe they live in fear too?)
