Pete Rose or Ken Lay? Who's the bigger "threat to America"? Pete served five months in a federal lockup in1990-91 for failing to report a Pick Six ticket to the IRS. Yeah, Pete's a real threat to society. No one from Enron has served a day in the hoosegow yet, despite participating in perhaps the biggest corporate obscenity in U.S. history. What do you wanna bet that all the corporate crooks at Enron don't serve five months combined? Re: "Do you think there is enough evidence, but Bush and Cheney are hiding it for him, or is it possible the prosecutors don't have enough evidence to make the charge?" I'm not even sure anyone is pursing the Enron obscenity with the intent of putting people behind bars. If not, why not? Write your congressman or woman today.
