| I haven't read the book, and have not been tracking on the movie. Gwyneth Paltrow, literary mystery, something along those lines, right? Right now I am frustrated, because the American Film Insitute is having a Kurosawa retrospective, and it has not yet been convenient to go, and I may miss some films I wanted to see as a result. I should manage to see my favorites: Yojimbo, Sanjuro, and the Seven Samurai, plus a doscumentary on Kurasawa, but it depends on whether the weather stops being terrible, because it is driving my sinuses crazy, even with medication, and causing me to lose too much sleep. Plus, there are some family obligations that might make scheduling harder. One of the reasons I wanted to move was to have access to the AFI. I already missed a restored print of Metropolis, because of being so busy....... |
