Very interesting articles. Thanks for posting them here. I have been away from SI for awhile but am glad I logged in today to review the articles. I never gave up on X-ray as a future technology, but the ability to stretch lithography to the sub 0.10u level with CYMI advanced excimer lasers will still push out the implementation of e-beam and X-ray, as it has over the past decade.

Though I have to admit, the time for X-ray is approaching fast, with the distinct possibility that e-beam will be skipped over as a production worthy tool for mainstream manufacturing. Some companies might be using e-beam, but the broader implementation probably will not occur, which will hasten the implementation of X-ray that much sooner.
