Yes, I do know we cannot buy the Dow. But there is (or there used to be) a mutual fund that consists of stocks that are Dow composite stocks. What I had in mind was that if the Dow were to hit 8750 or 10,000, the 'blowoff' or selloff will be so fast and furious that the not so nimble and alert investors will lose big time! That was why I asked where you thought the Dow was headed.

I like to imagine that in the aftermath of the blowoff, gold will be making a comeback. Initially after the big selloff, many would be losers. But most likely, gold will bring back the sunshine into their lives, eh?
