Regarding 1 chip soln paul. The issue here is a systems engineering and software issue. There will be 1 chip MPEG2 solutions in the near future, but not all MPEG2 bitstreams are encoded equally. I recently stated that NUKO use IBM's chipset, I'm not so sure thats correct, I have recently read a very good whitepaper on "The Characterization, adaptive traffic shaping and multiplexing of real-time MPEG-II video" written by a group from stanford university EE department, one of which works for NUKO. This Whitepaper refers to the use of CCube chips and highlights the value of proprietory multiplexing routines for maximising bandwidth use and minimising latency. These guys are smart, they have product, they have alliances with CISCO, NORTEL and ORACLE (STOP THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A SECOND) and I KNOW that revenues are on the way!! No one is scaring me out of my dosh!!!!! The price moments have nothing to do with the next 6-9 months. I brought in with a 2 year outlook and to me its still looking very good.
