Joe ... I think you're being too harsh on Ed. I've noticed over the years that MOST of my friends have an objection to the nature itself of shorting. Thank heavens ... my pop taught me to use ALL the tools... back five years or so ago, when I came to the Z, I made the comment that it was much easier to make money in a downdrafting market than in an upmoving one.... I've been one of the very few avowed shorters here for a lengthy amount of time ... Fishy admits it NOW ...ggggg Pop taught me FA research TA operations shorts stops For many moons, I have used ALL these tools ... but, as I said not too long ago on the Zthread ... FA is dead *********(as a tool for the small guy) WITHOUT a highly developed command of TA ..... being FA right ain't necessarily monetarily rewarding by itself ---- the computer world has made too much readily available to too many for home derived FA to have much impact .... so, I'll just leave that at that .. and shouldn't have even brought it up AGAIN ... but, I guess I'm wound up today ..gggggg however ... SHORTS and STOPS are still vital tools in my bucket .... but, back to what I originally posted ... Ed and BWAC (both large users of FA, seemingly to the neglect of TA) have some good points and some good ideas and I like reading diverse outlooks .... I learned a LOT here on the Z and I continue to learn ... but from time to time NOW ... I try to teach some, too ... gggggg as I said, I feel you're too harsh on Ed. later t
