OT Actually, you raise a good point (rings)...but how determinental is it that the guy pencils in 45 homers and 120 rbis a year? He is a leader (seen it here). He's no Manny Ramirez. His fielding used to be average, but is now good/very good. I just don't know if one can blame his lack of rings on him...at least Bonds has choked in post-season (so there is cause there). Put Rodiguez on the Yanks, he'd get a few rings before career over.. I have to admit...Jeter does those spectacular things at key moments that makes him an absolute stud in my book...the numbers are less important (as you say).. The new A's (last 3 years) are such a cool team IMO....hard not to like them.
