Me, too. Of course, not everything that religion tells us is immoral is illegal, so there is a shortfall from the standpoint of the religious, for example, homosexuality. But since almost all members of the committee, aka voters, are religious, there may be a difference of opinion among the religious over what is or isn't immoral and the "fight" isn't really between the religious and the secular but among the religious. No matter one's perspective, everything immoral would not practically rise to the attention of the law short of a police state so that shortfall would always be there. But the law covers all the big stuff, IMO.
