Good posting. You described an issue being handled badly.
Mass migration and population replenishment has to be thought over by governments.

What's necessary is to establish policies devised specifically to handle the solution. Immigration is not a problem.

Germany's Green Card scheme or HB-1 visa are palliatives. Hey, look the damage already done by the gast arbeiter scheme. All implemented badly.

By deciding to have only the uneducated, to do the menial work give immigrants a bad name. That because the locals want to keep the goodies for themselves and let the outsiders carry the brunt.

You don't a get a clever guy willing to drive the tax and wash dishes. You get the desperate ones. They come from a more backward environment. Tend to stick to its cultural roots and to be impermeable to the local culture.

Bring in the right stuff and the person is more willing to adapt, praise the new enviroment and be proud to be part of it.

What we have today are the immigrants, now 'localized' and assimilated, rejecting the new comers to defned thier narrow interests.
