No, not at all....I actually did a fair amount of trading with her....well I should say buying......as she had me on the preferred client list and commissions were not that bad at all.....the problem is, she is an old timer.... as she would say "buy and hold....never sell, because all bear markets end, and eventually stocks go higher...so just buy and hold, buy during the bear, and dont sell and pay taxes, unless something changes within the individual business"..... Obviously she thinks everybody has a money tree in her backyard and thinks we can buy stocks at $200, and hold and keep buyng, all the way down to $2.....I have a hard enough time buying $8 stocks and averaging down to keep my cost low....how the hell do you start at $200 and accomplish that unless you have BILLIONS of dollars??.....So, I think it's more a matter of her being an old timer and thinking every dip was a buying Opp and the bear would never be this severe....but the bottom line is, as time wound on, I found in most cases, listening to her ended up losing me money, when, had I followed my own instincts instead, I would have come out far better.......so, I decided to transfer most funds into my own hands....heck, if anybody is going to lose my money, let it be me <ggg>...I dont need to pay somebody to lose it for me........great weekend to all..... |
