when the floods started in prague several days ago i saw a blurb on tv that talked about flood insurance in europe and the possible liabilities. i was surprised, but this is what i heard. the report said most of these buildings and homes in the flood plain of these major rivers in europe did not have flood insurance because they could not get flood insurance (it is not offered.). i just offer this as what i heard on this tv news program (i don't remember the tv network.). this report could be uninformed, but does anyone have more info on the flood liabilities of the insurance companies for the european floods?
