i'm not sure that it is a long shot....even the dems are having a tough time justifying the 3k limit that was put in place in the 70's...that's chump change. after the tech wreck in the naz, i'm sure there are people with losses sufficient to "carry them over" till they take their last breath <g> and i know for a fact, based on conversations that i've had with brokers that there are people still holding your nt's, jdsu's, arba's of the world. i think it is a strong probably the limit will be raised...how much is the question.
