Hi KastelCo, There are two obvious trades on this one news story, depending on one's convictions:

(a) Short the weakest of Japanese banks, borrow Yen, and buy Citi, or

(b) Short Citi and buy gold, short USDollar and buy more gold;

There are not a lot of choices in between the two extremes on this news story ... except perhaps

(c) Buy Citi, short JPM.
