Regarding GEMS, and PCS. According to the EMC Technology Forecast, done by Price Waterhouse, the PCS worldwide market is expected to increase 1500% (15X's) by the year 2000!!! We're talking EXPLOSIVE GROWTH. We've already seen evidence with SPCT,AHA,PCMS, and a slew of other infrastructure stocks.
Why the street does not seem to concur with this optimistic outlook with GEMS, still confuses me. Are we missing something, or is GEMS such a no-brainer buy, its just too obvious to see? Could another company also see this apparent underlying value, and is planning to quickly buy GEMS? Another plus in GEMS market is after market revenue. (Maintenence, service, engineering, consulting, etc.)
I was also thinking, that if MOT bought GEMS, MOT would be the instant leader, and best positioned to dominate the PCS market through the explosion. LF |
