Yo F----N IDIOT! READ YOUR OWN POST!!!

"The gun culture of places such as Jamaica being transferred to the UK has also led to calls for changes in the law which could clamp down on replica guns and result in stiffer sentences for possessing firearms.

Do you understand the term "GUN CULTURE"? Now I know there are some differences between English-English and American English, but I kinda think the term "GUN CULTURE" has the same meaning on this side of the pond. Was denken Sie meinen Freund?

"The report shows crimes involving guns increased 41% over the last two years, but still only made up 0.3% of all recorded crime"

Impressive point you make here. A 41% increase in crimes involving guns.

0.3%? I think that's POINT THREE PER ONE HUNDRED or THREE OUT OF ONE THOUSAND.

Let's do some basic math here Bozo...

Current % of ALL RECORDED CRIMES IN UK INVOLVING GUNS = .3%
Current NUMBER of ALL RECORDED CRIMES IN UK INVOLVING GUNS OUT OF 1,000 = 3 (1000 x .003)

PREVIOUS % of ALL RECORDED CRIMES IN UK INVOLVING GUNS = .21
PREVIOUS NUMBER of ALL RECORDED CRIMES IN UK INVOLVING GUNS OUT OF 1,000 = 2.1 (1000 x .0021)

"The government was also looking at whether there was more it could do in relation to firearms and that did not rule out legislation, he said."

What do you think the UK is planning here? A loosening of gun regulations so MORE people have can have guns "to protect themselves"?

"Key threats to UK include..."

Any guess here Bozo?

Yep. you are Right!

A "Key threat(s) to UK include(s)...Firearms"

However police evidence suggests most are likely to be used against other criminals, who would be reluctant to give information to the police.

Keep making the case BOZO.
