Re: check out MBM Thanks, we were just setting the thing up, and hadn't loaded anything but XP, at that point. The most amazing thing was that it had been a while since I'd seen a desktop running under 100F, and I sure wasn't expecting it from the "too hot" 2200+ ! A lot of the credit has to go to the Antec case and coolermaster heatsink/fan, but I think the power consumption of thoroughbred is being exaggerated. The Antec PS has thermally controlled fans, and it was hard to tell if they were running, they had pretty much shut themselves off (there were 2 rear and 1 front additional case fans installed - clearly unnecessary).
