I have no idea what you're talking about here. First multiculturalists believe cultures are 'holistic' (whatever theat means), then I must believe that cultures are 'holistic' to have a problem with your Southwestern illustrations? Huh? Nor do your Southwestern illustrations make much sense to me, because surely there is a huge overlap between American Southwestern and Northeastern cultures? What is holistic about their interactions, they both look like very open systems to me? I don't even know how multiculturalism claims to handle such 'dialectical' differences in cultures, so I don't even get what you're trying to illustrate. I think you're just trying to muddy the waters, frankly.
