I found interesting the discussion about what it's appropriate to pray for. If you don't ask God to be spared by only ask that God's will be done, it seems superfluous. God's will will be done in either case so you might as well spend your last few minutes doing something constructive, if there's something constructive to be done. If their isn't, then what makes you feel better is the only criterion.
