I like the simplest explanations and that's the one I'd take.

I thought higher prices influencing drilling was on a longer lag -- 2 - 3 years -- seems more likely they are just holding back because storage is filling up earlier.

Perhaps a more germane question is why are prices as high as they are now?? I'll have to pick up gas daily or something and look at what they attribute this recent little spike to ...
