tippet. Per geologist friend, gas is normally pumped flat out unless the price gets really low. Thus the lower refil rate reflects lower supply at the well. The carryover stored gas from last winter was quite high. At the same time the active rig count for gas is apx 70% of that requires to maintain a stready supply. Wells deplete rapidly --say 25%/yr. This means that the storage will likely refill to say 3100 BCF as of wk 47. I thin you can see that there could be diffficulties w/ rapid storage dragdown after that. Clearly this creates certain investment opportunities.
