Finally, they did acknowledge that Lucent and Huawei were in discussions for trials with China Telecom. Pretty interesting to get confirmation of that from UTStarcom. The discussions must be reasonably far along if UT was willing to discuss the possability of CDMA450. I havent been a fan of Qualcomm's investments in CDMA 450 simply because I never thought they would be able to obtain the economies of scale needed....even if all of the prospective networks were actually built. China is the one market that could manage to tip the balance. Thanks for the info.... Slacker
