Richard, you are correct about there being exceptions... One of the best gold funds is TGLDX run by John Hathaway. (I love what he's done to help GATA, by the way.) Anyway, I've lost as well as made money playing TGLDX. The chart is kinda' "bumpy".... finance.yahoo.com
